New Year and Fresh Approaches!

17 Jan

There is much important work to be done; iconography changes your heart, mind and soul as you create this little window to God.  We are blessed to continue this practice of prayer through pigment in a unique way!  Gathering together on the LAST Saturday of each month to celebrate our communion with the Lord, we joyfully work in harmony on our icons and discuss all topics relating to iconograghy

January 28th is our next meeting–it is also the Chinese New Year–but if you haven;t made any plans to visit Washington, D.C. for the famous celebrations held there each year in Chinatown–we invite you to join us at the Shrine of St. Anthony in Ellicott City, MD.  We’ll be in the conference room from 1:00pm til 6:00pm then head off to Great Sage for dinner for a different approach to the continuation of our studies– the book we’ve chosen below is available from Amazon.com and we will continue with reading through the chapters at our “Round Table” dinner discussion!

Please visit our Guild Meeting section of our site to see additional changes that have been made to our meetings.  See you in a few weeks!
